Sunday on the farm is a special day around here. here we consider it the first day of the week. it is the beginning of a new week where we schedule projects if any and tasks to finish up from the weeks behind us.
You ask why do we consider Sunday as the first day of the week. Our Lord rose from the dead on a Sunday morning and He is the FIRST fruit of everything.
We attend a worship service with like minded folks and worship the LORD together. after that we come home to the farm and cook a meal,( if we did not stay on the grounds to eat) the animals need to be checked on to see if they are comfortable with all the amenities like water and bedding.
The porch is a very comfortable place to rest and relax for the rest of the evenings.
